GENERAL INFORMATION: -

Kindly note that for Play Therapy, Teen Therapy, and Educational Assessments, a parent intake is usually required prior to commencement of the sessions or assessment with your child.

My usual process for play/emotional therapy is as follows:

• Parent intake (60 mins): To discuss the family and developmental history, and reason for your referral

• 4 - 6 therapy sessions (45 mins)

• Parent feedback (60 mins): To discuss main play themes, progress, and recommendations

My usual process for teen therapy is as follows:

• Parent intake (60 mins): To discuss the family and developmental history, and your reason for referral

• Individual sessions with your teen (45/60 mins): 6-8 sessions are usually recommended for rapport building, full assessment of concerns, deeper therapeutic work and a re-assessment of therapy progress and recommendations

• Parent feedback (60 mins): This process is discussed with your teen first. This may be a separate session, or it may include your teen in the feedback session as well.

My usual process for an educational assessment is as follows:

• Parent intake (60 mins): To discuss the family and developmental history, and reason for referral

• School observation (optional): Includes teacher interview

• Individual assessment (2-4 hours): The time depends on the age of the child, the reason for referral, and the pace at which the child is able to work through the assessment tasks

• Parent feedback (60 mins): To discuss the assessment findings and recommendations

• Written report
