Fees

Payments via Cash, Zapper or EFT

I offer a discounted cash, Zapper or EFT (electronic fund transfer) fee if payments are made at the time of consultation.

If you would like me to claim from your Medical Aid on your behalf, this will be charged at your Medical Scheme's rate.

- Emergency and in-hospital consultation during office hours: No discounted rate - applicable standard fee charged

- Emergency and in-hospital consultation after office hours: This service is only provided upon request

  • Cash clients are requested to bring the exact amount to the consultation as change is not usually kept on the premises.

  • Zapper facilities are available.

  • EFT payments need to be made before the consultation (or immediately afterwards), to ensure payment is reflected in the account within 72 hours of the consultation. Please email proof of payment or bring a copy of the proof of payment to the session when paying by EFT.

  • The practice does not accept payments by cheque, credit card or debit card at this time.

  • You may use the cash invoice provided at payment to make your own Medical Aid claim as well.

*Kindly note that this practice may offer a reduced fee based on an income sliding scale. If you are concerned about the affordability of services, this can be discussed in the first consultation.

Medical Aid Payments

I am registered with a number of the major Medical Aid Schemes and I can therefore make a claim to your Medical Aid Scheme on your behalf at your Medical Scheme's rate. Please note that Medical Aid claims are made either according to your Medical Scheme’s Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs) or according to availability of funds if claimed from your Medical Savings Account (MSA) or Mental Health/ Psychology Benefit pool. This is charged according to your Medical Aid Scheme's rate (100%).

I can provide you with all the documents needed to assist you with claiming back from your Medical Aid Scheme. It is recommended that clients contact their medical aid scheme prior to the first consultation to ascertain the extent to which they will be reimbursed for psychological consultations, as annual limits and benefits vary considerably among Medical Aid Schemes.
